Paul was a founder of 2050 Group which is about to start construction on the largest biogas plant in the UK. Paul was also a founder of Arq which raised $250m to develop a waste coal to advanced carbons business; this was reverse listed on Nasdaq in 2023.

Steve is an investment banker and veteran corporate strategist with more than 35 years' experience building companies across mining, energy, and emerging technologies. He has founded and led over a dozen start-ups, served as a director on more than 35 boards, and has played a pivotal role in public listings that have exceeded £1 billion in market capitalization. Steve's experience spans diverse mining operations, including the successful transformation of projects from concept through to large-scale production. At Flying Forest, he brings a rare combination of commercial acuity, technical understanding, and board-level leadership across complex, high-growth ventures.

Adrian has over 45 years experience in shipping and trading. He became a member of the Baltic Exchange in 1977. He has worked with the US Government and USDA on AID policy, and established a biofuel and biomass department for the major US Forestry company International Forest Products Corp. He also established a biofuels division for Gazprom and led a team with DNV to pioneer a complex tolling agreement of fuel supply for power with Drax. He has worked with Shell on trading fuels and BP on originating renewable fuels. He is also an expert witness for biomass and shipping arbitrations and is a Member of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights in London.

Martin Parry is a portfolio director at Evoke Management Ltd, providing experienced CFO expertise on a fractional basis to help companies achieve their strategic and financial ambitions. Martin brings over 30 years of experience in MD and C-Suite roles helping businesses grow, transform and achieve their full potential. His early career at Standard Bank Plc, the UK-based resource bank, gave him valuable insight into financing, business structuring and the needs of growing clients. For the past eight years, he has specialised in supporting service-based businesses through growth, fund raising, change, risk management and new strategic opportunities. Martin is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).

Mike is an internationally experienced energy development executive. He has worked extensively in oil and gas services, operating an integrated portfolio of E&P assets totalling 70,000 boepd gross production, reducing annual capital and operating costs by approximately 30%. His experience spans the full asset investment cycle — from appraisal and field development through to operations, late life extension, decarbonisation, and divestments. Passionate about Operational Excellence, delivering high production efficiency, cost control, and industry-beating HSSEIA performance.

Jake Greenberg is an advisor and Co-Founder of Flying Forest. Jake is the MD of Sage Enterprises, a strategy consultancy and incubator for companies at the nexus of natural resources and technology. He was also part of the founding team of Yellow Cake Plc, a listed specialist uranium vehicle which now has a market cap of over £1bn. Jake has almost two decades of capital markets and investment banking experience, and he was the Global Head of Natural Resources Equities at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He graduated in 2000 from Princeton University.

Doctor of Technologies degree from Helsinki Technology University in 2002. Until 2021 he was Member of the Board of Green Fuel Nordic Oy.
